At Chaminade College Preparatory, our volunteer community is the heartbeat of campus life. From early morning events to after-school programs, our parent and community volunteers make it possible for our students to thrive — academically, spiritually, and socially. We're grateful for every hour you give.

All Chaminade volunteers are required to complete a brief onboarding process before their first shift. This includes a background check through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, completion of the Virtus "Protecting God's Children" training, and submission of a signed volunteer agreement. Once cleared, you'll have access to our volunteer portal to sign up for shifts, track your hours, and stay connected with the team. Returning volunteers only need to renew annually.
Q: How long does the approval process take?
A: Most volunteers are cleared within 5–7 business days once all required documents are submitted.
Q: Can I volunteer if my child doesn't attend Chaminade?
A: Absolutely. We welcome community members who share our mission and values.
Q: Do my volunteer hours count toward anything?
A: Yes! Families with a service hour commitment can track and log hours directly through the volunteer portal.
